About the firm
Method & Matter Advisory is a founder-led practice, built by an operations leader who spent her career inside the systems she now redesigns.
From the front line up
She learned the discipline in banking, working her way from teller to member service representative to lead teller to service manager. In a bank branch, process either serves people or fails them in plain view, and regulators read the record either way.
She carried it into advertising at an independent Boston-area agency: ad operations, digital and out-of-home planning and buying, and account leadership for clients in higher education and healthcare. Full-funnel campaigns, delivered with a 0.04% error rate.
Then global media, where she led transformation and media operations across more than 70 client account teams: taxonomy frameworks, workflow systems, data governance, and intelligent automation woven into end-to-end media processes for some of the world's largest advertisers. The results: solutions adopted by more than 850 teams worldwide, speed-to-market improved by 20%, manual data entry reduced by 90%.
She has also advised SaaS and analytics companies on go-to-market strategy and technology enablement through a senior consulting collective.
The pattern across all of it: find where the work actually breaks, redesign it with the people who do it, and stay until the fix holds.
Who does the work
Every engagement is led personally by the principal. The person you meet in the first conversation is the person accountable for the result.
How we think
Method and matter
The name is the standard: rigorous in how the work is done, consequential in what it produces. If a recommendation would not survive contact with your team's real week, it does not ship.
Evidence over opinion
Diagnosis comes from watching real work, not from workshops about it. Recommendations arrive with the evidence attached.
Discretion as a default
We do not name our clients, publish their data, or trade on their logos. The work is described; the relationships stay private.
The community commitment
A fixed share of the firm's capacity each year is reserved for pro bono work with community businesses and organizations in Maine.
